Cakewalk is building Access Management for the age of AI agents. Every company runs on dozens of apps, hundreds of users, and a growing number of AI agents. Keeping track of who has access to what is a nightmare. We're fixing that. Cakewalk automates access management for humans and AI agents alike: who has access to what, when, and why. Built by a team that has done it before at McKinsey, Klarna, Pleo, Google, and Facebook. Backed by $10.5M from Kindred, Vertex, Fly, and Seedcamp. We're just getting started.
What you’ll do:
- Build the GTM machine/ Automate the repeatable bits — onboarding flows, internal tooling, customer-facing utilities. Replace ten hours of manual work with one good script.
- Run the trial/ Own technical trials end-to-end. Configure environments, build POCs, and turn 'interesting' demos into 'we have to have this' moments.
- Get on calls/ Partner with sales on technical buyers (IT, Security, Ops) and with CS on customer rollout calls. You’re the person in the room when the questions get hard.
- Close the loop on support/ Jump on customer support tickets, debug fast, and ship fixes. You care about the customer outcome, not just the handoff.
- Make integrations real/ Set up, debug, and ship integrations for prospects and customers — APIs, SSO, SCIM, IdPs, the lot. If it connects, you make it work.
- Think commercially/ You understand that every integration, trial, and ticket has revenue attached. You prioritise accordingly and help the team close.
- Be the bridge/ Translate between product, sales, and customers. Surface patterns from the field, ship lightweight fixes, and influence the roadmap with real evidence.
- Figure it out/ This is a brand new role. No GTM Engineering team before you. No inherited playbook. Just real customers, a strong product, and the freedom to build.
- In a nutshell/ Own the full stack of technical GTM — integrations, trials, customer and prospect calls, support, automation. Where sales meets CS meets product, you’re it.
Who you are:
- 2–3+ years in a hands-on technical-meets-customer role — Solutions Engineer, FDE, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar.
- Comfortable with APIs, SSO/SCIM, scripting, and reading docs faster than most read email.
- You’ve shipped integrations end-to-end and stood next to customers when they went live.
- Commercial instinct — you get that GTM work moves revenue, and you act like it.
- AI-native & automation-first: you reach for code before headcount.
- You explain technical things clearly to non-technical buyers — and vice versa.
- You don’t need a playbook. You write it.
What we offer:
- £55k - £65k base + 20% OTE and meaningful equity.
- First GTM Engineering hire at a category-defining company.
- A direct path to building and leading your own function.
- 3 days/week in our London office, 2 days flexible.
- High ownership, low ego.
