Joining Cake as an Ecommerce Account Executive is a brilliant opportunity to develop a career in ecommerce within a vibrant and industry‑leading ecommerce agency. As an Ecommerce Account Executive, your main role will be managing client relationships, whilst playing a key role in the delivery of website, mobile app, creative, and marketing projects across our client portfolio. Commercially focused, this role will step‑change our internal capability to deliver seamless projects. This role will further develop your career in ecommerce within a fast‑paced agency environment. You will work in our Birmingham office alongside Senior Management to support your growth.

Responsibilities

  • The day‑to‑day management of clients’ websites, development projects, and retained services
  • Pro‑active learning of Shopify and the wider ecommerce ecosystem
  • Regular communication and liaison with clients
  • The organisation of client briefs and feedback
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress against an agreed schedule and budget
  • Contribute to ideas for our portfolio of clients
  • Ensure the completion of projects to a specific schedule, within an agreed budget and brief
  • Overseeing development project administration, such as meetings, follow‑ups, and briefs
  • Supporting your line manager with their website projects & retained projects
  • Where required, supporting with the technical setup and testing of functionality
  • Recommend partner solutions to clients
  • Supporting the up‑sell and cross‑sell of different services the agency offers

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable but not required
  • Good understanding of ecommerce or project management concepts
  • Over 3 years of experience
  • Copywriting acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ecommerce experience preferable
