As a Performance Manager at Cake, you'll play a key role in driving measurable results for our ecommerce clients through data-driven strategies and continuous optimisation.
This role focuses on maximising campaign performance, ROI, and revenue growth through rigorous analysis, strategic testing, and expert management of performance marketing channels.
You'll be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimisation of performance marketing campaigns across paid media and SEO - ensuring all activities deliver tangible business outcomes aligned with client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Performance Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive performance marketing strategies that drive measurable growth for clients.
- Set clear KPIs and success metrics for all performance campaigns, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and revenue targets.
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution across multiple performance channels, including Google, Meta, and Tik Tok.
- Conduct analysis and optimise campaigns to improve key metrics such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer acquisition cost.
- Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Build and manage comprehensive performance dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into campaign results and business impact.
- Analyse multi-channel attribution data to understand the customer journey and optimise marketing mix accordingly.
- Lead client communications to outline performance results, explain data trends, and present opportunities.
- Innovation & Industry Expertise
- Stay at the forefront of performance marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies including AI-powered optimisation and automation.
- Work closely with the agency's Marketing Director, Account Managers, and client teams to ensure performance strategies align with broader client objectives.
- Mentor junior performance executives or specialists, building their analytical and strategic capabilities.
- Contribute to new business pitches by developing performance marketing strategies and projections that demonstrate potential value.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is desirable but not required.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts.
- Over 3 years of experience in performance marketing.
- Copywriting acumen.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Direct ecommerce experience is preferable but not required.
