Mackays Hotel are looking for a part time kitchen porter to assist in our busy kitchen.
You will be responsible for washing pots, deep cleaning, cleaning floors, keeping the stores & outside areas clean and tidy, veg prep and other prep as supervised by one of our chefs.
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety in the workplace at all times
Ensuring chefs have all the equipment they need – suitably clean – to produce meals quickly and to a high standard.
Working as part of a team and assisting the chefs in any way that benefits the smooth running of the kitchen.
You must be hard working and love the buzz of a busy kitchen.
Full time roll is approximately 5-6 hours per night 2-3 days a week (Including weekends)
Wage: £12.60 per hour, depending on skills and experience + tips and staff/family discount scheme
