The predicted salary is between 16646 - 18942 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a Community Development Officer to support community groups and projects in Wick, Dunbeath & Berriedale, and occasionally Lybster. This is a 12 month funded post, but continuation funding at the end of the contract may be possible, and would be something that we would be aiming to achieve. This post is part-time only at 18.75 hours per week, and the successful candidate will need to be flexible as attendance at certain evening meetings will be required.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have a strong understanding of community led development.
- Strong IT skills.
- Be a team player.
- Able to use your own initiative.
- A clean drivers licence.
- Access to a vehicle.
Desirable Skills:
- Project management experience.
- Community funding experience.
- Previous Third Sector experience.
Salary - £27,744 pro rata
