Court Handyperson Cairn Housing Association•Glentanar Court, Seedhill Road

We are currently recruiting for a court Handyperson to join our team to ensure standards of safety are maintained, undertake tasks as identified by the line manager and always maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
- Deliver an effective day to day service within the Court to provide excellent customer service to tenants
- Maintain the common areas and carry out small repairs to ensure that the court is kept to a high standard
- Monitor the standard of repairs carried out to ensure a qualitative and value for money service is provided
- Responsible for reporting repairs to Homeworks team, Court Coordinator or Housing Officer to ensure repairs are carried out.
- Assist/Schedule weekly fire alarm system checks to comply with Fire and Safety Regulations
- Assist with compliance tasks including water temperature testing/showerhead cleaning in the absence of the Court Coordinator
Requirements – What We’re Looking For
- DIY/General maintenance skills with experience within a similar role
- Ability to work to own supervision, adapt communication to suit audience and have an awareness of confidentiality
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and IT literate
- Disclosure Scotland and Right to Work checks are mandatory for this role
