Responsibilities

  • As a Night Porter at Cairn Group, you’ll ensure our guests receive the same warm, professional welcome at night as they would during the day—creating a safe, secure, and memorable stay.
  • You’ll be responsible for overseeing the security of the hotel and its guests overnight, carrying out regular checks and responding to any late-night requests or issues with calm and care.
  • You’ll also support with night service delivery, including preparing service areas for the next day, delivering room service from the night menu, and completing basic cleaning duties as required.
  • Alongside this, you’ll manage administrative tasks such as processing payments, reconciling cash/card transactions, and ensuring a clear handover to the morning team.
