About the role… You’ll be responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently and that customers are satisfied with the quality of food and the service they receive. You’ll be a great leader, effectively developing and managing your team and be polite, courteous and professional. Under your leadership, the team will provide a memorable and efficient service at all times to maintain an exceptional standard of service and quality. You’ll manage the everyday activity within the restaurant, plan design and assign work ensuring you have the right staffing levels to meet the demand of the business. You’ll monitor budget and control expenses within the department, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue, and be aware of all activities across the venue to ensure effective communication by all. Through your hands on approach, you’ll lead by example to ensure the quality of our offering is to the highest standard. Within this role you’ll also develop and coach the team, completing any HR related activities that are required, and ensure all training is completed in line with company standards. Through goal setting and development, you will lead your team to achieve or exceed guest satisfaction scores leading the department to success.
About you… You’ll possess strong leadership skills, having the ability to work under pressure and adapt your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks. You’ll have demonstrated customer service skills to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience is delivered consistently by your team, and be able to proactively resolve any challenges that may arise during service. You’ll also have confidence in handling customer complaints to ensure satisfaction levels are restored in the event something doesn’t go to plan.
