The Gantry is a design-led hotel in Stratford, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection. With a growing meeting spaces offer, evolving food and drink experiences and a clear commercial direction, the hotel is entering its next phase. We are looking for a commercially driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead that growth. This is a key leadership role focused on building revenue, strengthening market presence and shaping the commercial direction of the hotel across corporate, groups, meeting spaces and brand partnerships.

You’ll be a visible and connected commercial leader — confident building relationships, identifying opportunity and creating strategies that deliver performance in a competitive London market.

The Role

You’ll lead the commercial strategy for the hotel, driving performance across rooms, meeting spaces, private dining and wider revenue opportunities. Working closely with Revenue and Operations, you’ll ensure commercial decisions are aligned to both guest experience and profitability. This includes:

  • Leading and delivering the hotel sales and marketing strategy
  • Driving revenue across corporate, groups, meeting spaces and transient segments
  • Building new business opportunities locally, nationally and internationally
  • Developing strong relationships with agencies, corporate accounts and key partners
  • Driving conversion and commercial performance across meeting spaces and private dining
  • Working closely with Revenue and Operations teams to maximise performance
  • Leading and developing the commercial team
  • Supporting the positioning and visibility of The Gantry within the London market
  • Identifying new partnerships, opportunities and revenue streams as the hotel evolves
About You

You already understand what strong commercial leadership looks like within a hotel environment and know how to build strategies that deliver results. You are:

  • Experienced in senior hotel sales leadership roles
  • Commercially focused, with a strong understanding of revenue, conversion and market positioning
  • Confident leading corporate, groups and meeting spaces strategy
  • Connected within the London market and comfortable building relationships at all levels
  • A strong communicator with a collaborative leadership style
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and commercially curious
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-moving lifestyle or upscale hotel environment
Why The Gantry

The Gantry is evolving — reshaping its meeting spaces offer, strengthening its F&B identity and building a more defined position within the London market. This is a hotel with momentum, personality and opportunity. For the right person, this is a chance to play a leading role in shaping the next phase of the business and building long‑term commercial success.
