About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join team at Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport Hotel, supporting the financial operations of the hotel across all departments.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll play a key part in the finance function. Your responsibilities will include reconciliations, data uploads, reporting, and supporting in management accounts and audit activities.

NOTE: (20 to 40 hours a week – Starting at 20 hrs a week and gradually going up to 40hrs -full time)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile weekly sales reports and investigate variances
  • Upload invoices in PW.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and cash reconciliations.
  • Manage P&L
  • Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting.
  • Support the production of monthly management accounts and the annual audit.
  • Process petty cash transactions
  • Provide ad hoc finance support as required.

  • Familiarity with Sage 200 and Opera is a plus—but not essential, as training will be provided.
