Are you a Head Chef who cares about proper food, great produce and building a kitchen team you’re proud of? We’re working with a growing collection of premium London pubs and bars to find an ambitious Head Chef who wants genuine ownership of the kitchen and the opportunity to make their mark.

The Food

  • Fresh, seasonal produce
  • Quality ingredients
  • Proper Sunday roasts
  • Beautifully cooked meat & fish
  • Seasonal specials
  • Elevated pub classics

No unnecessary fuss — just great food, cooked properly and consistently well.

The Role

As Head Chef, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen and work closely with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional food offering while keeping the operation commercially strong. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, training and developing the kitchen team
  • Maintaining consistently high food standards
  • Creating seasonal dishes and specials
  • Managing GP, food costs, stock and budgets
  • Building strong supplier relationships
  • Recruitment and team development
  • Food safety and hygiene
  • Maintaining a high-performing kitchen through busy services

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a proper chef and a strong kitchen leader. You could be an experienced Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step. You’ll ideally come from a premium pub, gastro pub, restaurant, hotel or quality-led food operation and have:

  • A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
  • Strong knowledge of meat, fish and classic cooking
  • A love of a great Sunday roast
  • Excellent kitchen leadership skills
  • A strong commercial understanding
  • Experience in a busy, high-volume environment
  • The ambition to develop both yourself and your team

Why This Role?

This isn’t an opportunity to simply run someone else’s kitchen. You’ll have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, influence the food offering, develop your team and help shape the identity of the venue. And as the wider group continues to grow, there is genuine opportunity for progression. If you're a Head Chef who wants to work somewhere where food actually matters, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now with your CV and we’ll be in touch with more information about the venue and opportunity.
