Graphic Communications

This role is part of our Graphic Communications business unit, which serves the global print and packaging industry with ERP and production software designed for commercial printers, packaging manufacturers, promotional and transactional print providers, sign and display manufacturers, and in-plant operations. Our solutions accelerate performance by improving operational visibility, production efficiency, and profitability in complex, high-volume environments.

About the Role

The Lead Industry Specialist (LIS) will assist with the pre-sales activity related to opportunities within the UK & EMEA markets with specific focus on the Graphic Communications' suite of products. The LIS works closely with the Account Executive (AE) to achieve the assigned revenue plan for the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and lead a team of Industry Specialists
  • Learn all current and future ERP products and technologies to offer accurate and professional sales support.
  • Understand products from other manufacturers that could be seen to enhance or compete with our own products.
  • Communicate and work closely with the AE's on technical requirements during the sales process.
  • Assist in qualifying prospects for a given solution.
  • Be able to explain, demonstrate and present all products, to a variety of audiences via webinar, in groups and one-on-one.
  • Provide technical responses to RFP and tender requests.
  • Establish and maintain close and professional contact with key users, influencers and decision makers during the pre-sale process.
  • Support assigned Account Executive activities: customer workshops, seminars, trade shows, exhibits.
  • Provide extensive product training for our Account Executives.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of activity and issues to CAI management.
  • Travel to customer locations approximately 50% of the time.

What We’re Looking For

  • B.A. degree with 7+ years of related experience with 3+ years experience managing either a Sales team or Sales Engineering team.
  • Ability to show, customize and demo MIS applications.
  • Ability to build and customize client facing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels and experience in training activities.
  • Ability to perform 50% travel in the UK and EMEA.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with teams with minimal supervision and proficiently demonstrate all of the above in a pre-sales situation.
  • Multi-language comprehension and communication is highly desired (English, Spanish, German) preferred.
