ABOUT THE ROLE
CAI Software is seeking an experienced supply chain and/or production planning professional, who is ready to take the next step in his or her career as Regional Manager within our Global Partnerships team.
This role will focus on Global Partnership growth for our new Planet Together product that provides advanced planning and scheduling software (APS) and thoughtware for multi-plant manufacturers.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, seasoned professional, who relishes the opportunity to lead and grow a new division for an established software company.
To succeed, the Regional Manager must be able to handle multiple requests and competing priorities with grace and a sense of urgency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Overseeing growth and expansion of the partner network (SIs, VARs, and Distributors) within the region by proactively managing partner relationships.
- Providing dedicated partner support on any pre-sales, sales, and training activities, including but not limited to conducting product demonstrations, leading initial sales calls, attending industry events, etc.
- Creating and reporting on partner pipeline coverage and sales quotas in Hubspot.
- Updating all Partner outreach and activities in Asana/Hubspot.
- Serving as Planet Together’s leadership contact in the assigned region(s).
- Providing partners with sales and product expertise in the region.
- Delivering weekly reports to Planet Together’s Executive Leadership Team on all strategic and tactical initiatives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in the supply chain or production planning space.
- 5+ years of experience implementing detailed production scheduling solutions (Planet Together preferred, though experience in software similar to Op Center, Eyelit, Asprova, and Ortems is also acceptable).
- 5+ years of experience managing strategic relationships and accounts.
- Advanced aptitude and ability to demonstrate the use of integrated enterprise software.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other relational databases would be helpful.
- Proven multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Native-level fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable speaking with colleagues, partners, and clients across all mediums.
- Conversational skills in Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, French (France), Spanish, or German a major plus.
