This role is responsible for Graphic Communications Software Sales in the United Kingdom, reporting to the Senior Regional Director, EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales activities within existing and new SMB companies in the Commercial Print, Publication, Mailing and Super Wide Format space across the UK territory.
  • Liaise with other Graphic Communications sales teams to drive cross‑selling activities.
  • Leverage Graphic Communications resources and capabilities in Marketing and Engineering to achieve sales goals.
  • Execute sales, marketing and support strategies/models to meet objectives via the immediate and broader Graphic Communications team.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the product, industry and competitive posture of the company.
  • Develop expertise in assigned vertical markets and the unique application of solutions.
  • Provide timely and accurate territory reporting and forecasting using Salesforce.
  • Give regular feedback to marketing, engineering and manufacturing regarding product performance.
  • Expand the Graphic Communications market presence creatively and entrepreneurially, positioning the brand as a market leader.
  • Communicate regularly through personal visits, telephone calls, and other channels; field travel required (50‑75%).
  • Attend all assigned trade shows, open houses, and other industry events.
  • Achieve revenue targets within operating budgets.
  • Steer prospect development and successful completion of new business sales for software license agreements and consulting services.
  • Set discount levels to meet targets.
  • Establish a dominant market share and maintain effective relationships with key partners.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Facilitate product demos with Technical Sales Specialists for customers.
  • Provide access to additional resources to give customers a comprehensive analysis and due diligence of the product offering.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Saa S / software / ERP sales influencing small buying committees from Director to C‑suite in SMB manufacturing companies; print industry highly preferred.
  • Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends.
  • High technical understanding of software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding both individual and team sales quotas or goals.
  • Success turning cold calls into revenue‑generating accounts.
  • Expertise in complete sales‑cycle management: prospect identification, qualification, discovery, ROI, proposal and close.
  • Ability to handle complex technical sales cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Additional language skills in French and German preferred.
