About Us

Cahill Corporation Ltd T/A Cahill Renewables is a rapidly growing renewable energy company based in Colchester, specialising in the design and installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy systems across domestic, social housing and commercial sectors.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Solar PV and Battery Storage installations, electrical testing, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance works across a variety of projects. You will be required to report to our Colchester yard each morning to collect equipment and materials before travelling to site.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and associated electrical works
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Solar PV Installation qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Battery Storage installation experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Testing & Inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent) (preferred but not essential)

Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum basic + overtime depending on experience
