The company is a world-renowned name in Test & Measurement, covering a whole host of sectors such as broadcast, mobile comms, military & Aerospace, and automotive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established technical sales team, working predominantly on the aerospace and defence (A&D) sector, which is considered a key area of growth.
With a growing test and measurement product portfolio and customer base, we are looking for a talented and competitive business development manager who will thrive in a busy sales environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting our sales team to achieve ambitious revenue growth objectives. They will have a good knowledge of the A&D market sector, including the MoD, defence prime contractors, and their supply chains.
You must have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting and demonstrating our test equipment solutions, and work as part of a busy sales and marketing team.
Responsibilities:- Pro-active prospecting
- Developing market knowledge of the A&D sector
- Keeping the business fully up to date on current and future programmes and projects
- Following up on new sales enquiries
- Supporting existing customers and accounts
- Technical demonstrations
- CRM management
- Assist and co-ordinate collaboration between European and US subsidiaries
- Degree qualified in a technical subject (electrical or electronic) or suitable demonstrable experience
- Experience with RF test equipment
- Technically minded
