Covering a territory in Northern Ireland with an existing ledger, you will leverage your sales expertise to nurture current customer relationships while expanding our client’s customer base. Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular farm visits, evaluate the farm needs to optimise livestock performance
  • Foster long-term relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional service and tailored nutritional solutions
  • Actively identify and generate new leads to drive business growth in the designated area
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and provide regular reports on sales progress and opportunities
  • Collaborate across the business to ensure customers’ needs are met and ensure smooth operational coordination
  • Represent the company at shows and events, and participate in training as needed to enhance skills

Skills you will need (Essential)

  • Proven experience in sales within the livestock feed sector or a relevant field
  • Capable of understanding and explaining basic livestock nutrition principles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A relationship builder, able to forge and cultivate long-lasting relationships fluidly
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and goal-oriented with a focus on achieving results
  • Experienced in delivering excellent customer service and understanding farmers’ needs
  • A team collaborator with the ability to work autonomously when required
  • Driven to develop and achieve personal growth through training opportunities
  • The willingness and desire to travel
  • Proficient in IT skills
  • UK driving licence
  • Experience and knowledge of livestock farming and production systems
  • Knowledge of the wider farming industry and the business cycles

Remuneration

A competitive salary and package, including a company car, commission commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of experience.
