Hillmount Management Limited provide grounds maintenance services at commercial sites in Lisburn, Antrim and Portadown areas. We are looking to recruit a grounds maintenance operative to work alongside the owner/operator and assist with these activities.
About the role:
- Initially the position is part-time 2 days/week from 15th Nov 2025 to 28th Feb 2026
- Part-time rate of pay is £120.00 -140.00 per 8 hour day
- If you’re a good fit for Hillmount and want to stay, we can offer a full-time position
- Full-time rate of pay can be discussed depending on age, experience etc
- PPE, equipment and on-job training provided
Your duties will include:
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge cutting, shrub and tree pruning
- Leaf blowing and herbicide treatments
- Hard surfaces cleaning and vegetation clearance projects
- Using commercial ride on mowers, walk behind mowers, hand tools and various
items of plant machinery - Hard working, punctual and has attention to detail
- Able to operate manual and mechanical equipment, doing so safely and effectively
- Fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must hold a UK driver’s licence and be able to travel to each site using own transport
- Might suit a horticulture student or someone who has worked in a similar role
Desirable criteria but not essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a practical, hands-on working background
- Horticulture certificates or education/training
