Who are we
Cafler is a European market leader in vehicle movement and transfers (present in UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Chile and USA). We work with companies that need to move vehicles from A to B (car dealerships, rental companies and leasing companies). We enable our clients to book, track and manage vehicle movements all in one place from our platform.
How the role works
If you enjoy being your own boss and planning your own day, then this is the role for you. This is a self-employed role where you, as the driver, have full control over your schedule. Our driver app has hundreds of movements to choose from, each with a price attached. If you find the movement that works for you, you select it and the app will confirm the details of the collection and delivery. Simple. There is a high degree of travel involved, and you will have to plan your own travel accordingly.
The benefits
- Training: we offer full training so that you feel comfortable in your new role.
- Full support: we will provide you with constant support as you get up to speed.
- Flextime: as you are self-employed you can make your own schedule.
What you need to be successful with us
- Age between 25 and 55 years (insurance conditions)
- A full UK driving licence with 3+ years driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
- No driving bans in the last five years
- Ideally registered as self-employed
- Set up to complete self-assessment tax returns (or planning to)
- Professional and reliable: you will represent Cafler and our customer’s brands. Good conduct, communication and presentation are essential.
- Data-enabled Android or IOS smartphone
- A clear DBS check
- Previous vehicle movement experience is useful but by no means essential; you will receive full training from us
Payment
It is completely up to you. Our payment model is based on a job-by-job basis. Every job on our portal has the pay listed, so you know exactly what you can earn per job. We make fortnightly payments straight to your account for all movements successfully completed. As this is a self-employed role, you will manage your work travel expenses and tax calculations.
