An exciting opportunity has arisen in our London office for a skilled Financial Accountant with experience in Financial Services, particularly in managing Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) engaged in securitisation, other capital markets transactions and fund administration. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with Cafico International, a leading international corporate services provider headquartered in Dublin, with offices in Luxembourg and the UK.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as required by clients;
- Preparation of core fund accounting deliverables, including transaction bookings, NAV‑related calculations (valuations, accruals, income/expenses), capital call and distribution workings, investor allocations, fee calculations, reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio), and supporting schedules for investor and financial reporting;
- Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS);
- Assist in the coordination of year-end audits;
- Payments and cash flow management;
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax declarations;
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., CSSF, BCL, ECDF);
- Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;
- Participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings;
- Support the team in improving processes and implementing best practices;
- Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis;
- Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in fund or SPV accounting;
- Proficiency in E-front is desired but not essential;
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA);
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively;
- Clear communicator with a professional and client-focused approach;
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
