We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team and sit at the intersection of Data, Marketing and Product. In this role, you will own and analyse our key B2C marketing data, helping Marketing teams better understand performance, identify growth opportunities and make data-driven decisions. You'll go beyond reporting: from analysing the acquisition funnel and running advanced measurement studies to improving attribution, tracking and marketing performance. You'll also play a key role in making our Marketing teams more autonomous by building self-serve reporting and AI-powered data products, while ensuring that our tracking and data infrastructure remain accurate, compliant and up to date.
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills in SQL and Python with a genuine understanding of B2C marketing, strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You'll work closely with Marketing, Product and Data stakeholders, making this a highly cross-functional role with a direct impact on our growth strategy.
Missions
- Own B2C marketing KPIs from a data perspective, ensuring that key performance indicators and supporting data points are accurate, reliable and available within a reasonable timeframe for weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Support Marketing teams with reporting, helping them define relevant dashboards, reporting frameworks and performance indicators to answer their business questions.
- Analyse the acquisition funnel, from awareness through to conversion, to identify growth levers and provide actionable recommendations to Marketing teams.
- Run advanced marketing analyses to support strategic decision-making, including initiatives such as Geo-Lift studies, attribution analyses and other measurement approaches.
- Translate findings into concrete recommendations around budgets, channels and acquisition strategy.
- Implement algorithms and analytical solutions to support Marketing Operations, particularly around attribution and marketing measurement.
- Improve Marketing team autonomy through self-serve data products, enabling stakeholders to answer their day-to-day data questions without relying systematically on an analyst.
- Develop and deploy AI-powered data products and insights, using AI to make marketing stakeholders more autonomous and accelerate access to actionable insights.
- Own and maintain marketing tracking, ensuring that implementation remains compliant with regulations and aligned with changes across advertising platforms and the wider tracking ecosystem.
- Act as a bridge between Marketing and Product to ensure tracking remains up to date, follows best practices and provides the data and signals required for effective acquisition.
- Activate relevant data points within marketing platforms to improve acquisition performance and maximise the value of available customer and behavioural data.
Requirements
We are looking for a data-driven and commercially minded Data Analyst who sits at the intersection of Data, Marketing and Product. You are naturally curious and enjoy going beyond reporting to understand why performance is changing, identify growth opportunities and turn data into concrete business decisions. You are comfortable owning B2C marketing KPIs and ensuring that the underlying data is accurate, reliable and available when stakeholders need it.
Must-have
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to independently query, analyse and manipulate data.
- Experience working with B2C marketing data, ideally within a subscription-based business, with a strong understanding of metrics such as acquisition, conversion, trials and churn.
- Proven experience in marketing analytics and reporting, including the ability to translate business questions into relevant analyses and actionable insights.
- Experience with marketing tracking and measurement, including familiarity with GDPR, SKAN, DMA and the broader digital tracking ecosystem.
- Strong analytical storytelling skills, with the ability to identify meaningful insights and clearly communicate recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Data teams.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, Segment, GTM and Amplitude.
- Experience with advanced B2C marketing analytics methodologies such as Geo-Lift studies, Multi-Touch Attribution or Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM).
- Experience optimising acquisition strategies through A/B testing, particularly across the upper funnel.
- Experience activating and sharing data points with advertising platforms to improve acquisition performance.
- Experience developing self-serve reporting tools or AI-powered data products that enable business stakeholders to work more independently.
