Reports to: General Manager, Senior Events Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our hospitality team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work a variety of hours each week, depending on business needs.

ROLE PURPOSE: To help make the delivery of our internal hospitality as smooth and successful as possible. To engage with guests, ensure efficiency and quality of service, and assist with late evening events such as silent discos.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • General: Work within Benugo policies and procedures at all times. Support Benugo's vision around People, Product, Customers, and Profitability. Engage with the team in a collaborative and constructive manner. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence and deliver according to Benugo's service standards.
  • Role Specific: Deliver excellent customer service and accommodate guest requirements to the best of your ability. Ensure smooth internal operations, including setup and teardown. Be proactive in your approach. Assist in the delivery and service of canapΓ© receptions, sit-down dinners, and daytime catering, depending on event requirements. Set up the event and assist the Event Manager with loading equipment. Lay up tables efficiently and to standard. Serve food and drinks to guests in the correct style. Interact with guests enthusiastically and politely. Maintain politeness, courtesy, and professional appearance at all times. Proactively resolve issues or complaints and involve the Event Supervisor or Manager as needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with Food Safety procedures. Work well within the team, assisting with other duties as required. Undertake staff training when necessary.
