Cafea UK is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to provide technical and food safety support across our late and night production shifts. This is a newly created part-time role designed to strengthen quality oversight during evening operations.
LOCATION: Dunstable, Bedfordshire
JOB TYPE: Part-time, 25 hours per week
The Role
- Monitoring CCPs, GMP and food safety standards
- Conducting line checks and validations
- Inspecting raw materials and finished product
- Supporting investigations and non-conformance processes
- Ensuring production remains audit-ready at all times
You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering and the Technical team to maintain high standards of product safety and quality.
Working Hours
25 hours per week. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent evening/night coverage, ideally overlapping our late and night shifts. The approximate cover window would be from 19:00 – 00:00, however flexibility may be considered regarding the exact 5-hour shift worked provided the hours are consistent each week and support operational coverage.
About You
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GMP and food safety
- Detail-oriented and confident working independently
- Experience in coffee or HPLC is desirable but not essential.
