An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Imaging Assistant to work in Radiology at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre alongside Radiographers and Radiologists to provide the highest possible standard of care for patients and families. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and highly motivated individual to undertake this role.
The successful candidate will assist the Radiology staff in all aspects of patient care for a range of imaging examinations. Hours: 37.5 hours. Rotational shifts Monday‐Saturday between the hours of 08:00‐18:00. Working towards 08:00‐20:00.
Modality Overview: Within Radiology at CCC we provide a wide range of imaging examinations including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine and conventional X‐Ray. You will be required to rotate through all these modalities and training will be given.
Skills & Requirements:
- Computer literate and familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel and ideally EPR systems.
- Competence in cannulation and use of venous access lines and ports (no experience required; enthusiasm to acquire these skills is a must).
