Head Waiter/Waitress – Murano by Angela Hartnett Full-Time or Part-Time – Mayfair, London Murano, Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, is looking for an experienced Head Waiter/Waitress to join our passionate front-of-house team. What the Role Involves As a Head Waiter/Waitress, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience while supporting the daily running of the floor. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of your section, ensuring smooth and consistent service Leading by example and setting the tone for excellent guest interaction Supporting the management team with training junior staff Ensuring standards are upheld and guest expectations consistently exceeded Maintaining a calm, professional presence during busy services Acting as a point of reference for product knowledge and menu details What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a similar role within a high-quality or Michelin-starred environment A genuine passion for hospitality and service Confidence in leading by example and mentoring others Strong communication skills and an eye for detail Calm and reliable under pressure, with a guest-first attitude A positive, proactive approach and strong team spirit What We Offer Guaranteed minimum 30 hours – no zero-hour contracts Maximum 48-hour working week across 6 shifts Flexible rotas, released 2 weeks in advance Great rates of pay, plus cash bonus schemes Delicious team meals at lunch and dinner (we all eat together) Full uniform provided or paid for, plus annual allowance 28 days paid holiday (including service charge), increasing with service £1,000 “Introduce a Friend” bonus 50% off food (plus complimentary drinks & starters) for you and up to 5 guests Career development and professional training opportunities Access to Wagestream and other wellbeing benefits Company-wide parties and supplier trips Restaurants closed over Christmas period We’d love to hear from experienced, motivated individuals who are looking to be part of something special.
