Role Description: The Chief Operating Officer at Café Ciel is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for overseeing daily operations, new opportunities, and long-term business performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting and tracking KPIs
- Exploring new business opportunities
- Being the main point of escalation for current F&B sites
- Collaborating with ownership and management on strategic initiatives and company growth
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years in Senior Hospitality and F&B Operations
- Strong Operations Management and Business Planning skills, with experience overseeing multi-faceted hospitality or restaurant operations
- Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting, including cost control, forecasting, and monitoring revenue and profitability
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret operational and financial data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on coaching, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to coordinate across kitchen, front-of-house, and management stakeholders
- Knowledge of restaurant industry best practices, health and safety standards, and guest service excellence
- Previous senior operations or executive-level experience in hospitality or a related sector; experience in London’s café or restaurant scene is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
