Were looking for an experienced, energetic and passionate Assistant General Manager to join the team at Beam Canary Wharf , our newest restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf .
Beam is a growing London restaurant group with five sites across the city, known for our all-day brunch, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired food, and warm, outstanding service. With ambitious plans for further growth, its an exciting time to join the team.
Canary Wharf is our largest and most ambitious restaurant yet, bringing everything people love about Beam to a bigger all-day setting. Alongside our popular brunch and lunch offering, its the only Beam open for dinner, with a Turkish-inspired menu of mezze and dishes from the charcoal grill.
The role
Working closely with the General Manager, youll help lead the day-to-day running of a busy restaurant and take responsibility for the site when the GM is away.
Youll be involved across the operation: leading the floor, managing and developing the team, maintaining service standards, dealing with guests, supporting rotas and labour control, and helping make sure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
We're Looking for someone who:
Has previous management experience in a busy, quality-led restaurant
Is confident leading a team and running shifts independently
Is hands-on and enjoys being present on the floor
Has excellent guest service and communication skills
Can coach and motivate a team while maintaining high standards
Is organised, reliable and calm under pressure
Is comfortable working across breakfast, lunch and dinner services
Has a genuine passion for providing first class service
