We are recruiting for the role of Resourcing Adviser on a Permanent and fixed term contract until October 2027) in our Resourcing team.
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Resourcing Adviser to join our national Resourcing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in attracting, recruiting and onboarding talented people who help us deliver our vital work with children and families across England.
We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way and will you will be required to attend a local office to you at least once a week.

As a Resourcing Adviser, you will support the delivery of safe, timely and effective recruitment across a designated portfolio of operational service areas. Working closely with Resourcing Business Partners, hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity, ensuring vacancies are progressed efficiently and in line with workforce priorities.
You will be a trusted point of contact for candidates and managers throughout the recruitment journey, providing expert guidance and delivering an outstanding candidate experience while maintaining the highest standards of safer recruitment and compliance.
Managing a varied and often complex workload, you'll use your organisational skills, attention to detail and customer-focused approach to ensure recruitment campaigns, vacancies and pre-employment checks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of vacancies and service areas.
- Supporting managers with recruitment planning, interview arrangements and recruitment processes.
- Managing vacancy advertising across multiple channels, ensuring adverts align with Cafcass's employer brand.
- Building positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HR Business Partners and key stakeholders.
- Conducting candidate screening calls and supporting talent attraction activities.
- Coordinating all aspects of pre-employment checks, including DBS, right to work, employment references and professional registration verification.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment system records and ensuring data quality.
- Monitoring recruitment progress and identifying risks or delays, escalating where appropriate.
- Supporting high-volume and targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping shape more efficient ways of working across the Resourcing Team.

- Experience of working with recruitment, HR or applicant tracking systems.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the confidence to provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy when handling sensitive information.
- A commitment to inclusion, equality, safeguarding and safer recruitment principles.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
