Role Overview

  • We are recruiting for the role of
  • Family Court Adviser (Social Worker) in the

High Court Team covering London. This is a fixed-term role until 1st October 2027. The role is based primarily in our office at Grays Inn Road but is open to flexible and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs, wants, and feelings of children in High Court proceedings.
  • Advise the court on the best course of action for each child.
  • Produce confident, powerful and succinct written risk and child impact assessments, case analyses, and evidence-informed recommendations to the court.
  • Attend court hearings and advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the High Court team to support children and families throughout the process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Social Work England registered social worker.
  • Organised, resilient, able to work independently.
  • Demonstrable experience working with children and families over a sustained period as a social worker.
  • Experience with high-profile or complex child protection cases (preferred).
