Role Overview
- We are recruiting for the role of
- Family Court Adviser (Social Worker) in the
High Court Team covering London. This is a fixed-term role until 1st October 2027. The role is based primarily in our office at Grays Inn Road but is open to flexible and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the needs, wants, and feelings of children in High Court proceedings.
- Advise the court on the best course of action for each child.
- Produce confident, powerful and succinct written risk and child impact assessments, case analyses, and evidence-informed recommendations to the court.
- Attend court hearings and advocate for the best interests of children.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the High Court team to support children and families throughout the process.
Qualifications and Experience
- Social Work England registered social worker.
- Organised, resilient, able to work independently.
- Demonstrable experience working with children and families over a sustained period as a social worker.
- Experience with high-profile or complex child protection cases (preferred).
