We are recruiting for a 12-month secondment role of Transactional Services Officer in our Post Exceptions Team. We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment, and support so that individuals and collectively we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures. Whilst this role is part of a team based from our office in National Business Centre, Coventry, our teams work flexibly and remotely, so proximity to the office is not always a critical consideration.

Responsibilities
- As an Administrator, you will provide a strong supportive backbone to the organisation by delivery of highly effective and efficient transactional services which facilitates innovation and expertly transforms a range of inputs into high quality outputs to equip front-line staff with the resources to champion the best interests of children involved in family proceedings.
- Answering any queries regarding post received or how it has been handled - queries can vary from the call centre, any Cafcass staff, the courts, LA and police authorities.
- Processing all post and emails that are received into our exceptions handling systems and inboxes.
- Validating documents and uploading them to the correct case files and to alert the correct team for them to action.
- Reviewing court orders for closed cases, checking if work for Cafcass is required.
- Processing any returned post received back from the address or royal mail, and investigating why the post has been returned, alerting the appropriate people.
Qualifications
- Able to plan and complete work to agreed timescales, prioritising appropriately.
- Resilient and able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- The ability to work independently and contribute to the team effectively.
