As a Business Services Officer you will provide administrative support to Local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers, contributing to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor case progression.
- Receive referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team.
- Create, update, and close cases within our case management system.
- Send letters and information packs to children and families.
- Identify missing information and follow up as required.
- Receive and deal with telephone enquiries.
- Meet and greet visitors, including children and families.
- Provide general administrative support.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g., NVQ2) or willingness to work towards a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role.
- Confident and capable of using MS Office applications at a basic to intermediate level.
- Clear, confident communicator via email, phone, and in person.
- Someone who thrives working in a team.
- Able to prioritise work in a fast‑moving environment with strict deadlines.
