What will be your role in the company?

CAF Rail requires Technicians of the highest caliber to join the Team to work on a fleet of brand new state-of–the-art trains. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business using the latest, cutting-edge technology, and build your career with a company with strong principles and over 100 years Industry leading experience. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of on-board train systems with large emphasis on fault finding, as well as being capable of providing technical support to the technicians when required.

What will make you successful in this position?

  • Fault finding and diagnostic experience
  • Use of schematics, test & measurement equipment, and diagnostic software
  • Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams
  • Planning and organising of warranty repairs
  • Be able to react to changes in the working environment, managing the change process
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

What Salary will you be paid for this role?

As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £49,000 per annum.
