What will be your role in the company?

You will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive preventive examinations on the units, using VMIs, specialised test and measurement equipment, and diagnostic software to assess the condition and performance of key systems. As part of these inspections, you will undertake minor corrective actions to ensure the trains remain in optimal working order, identifying early signs of wear or faults and addressing them efficiently. Working within a busy depot environment, you will follow all safety procedures diligently and make full use of electronic management systems to record findings, update maintenance records, and ensure full traceability of the work completed.

What Salary will you be paid for this role?

As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £42,000 per annum.
