CAF Haulage & Recovery Limited are looking to recruit a dependable and experienced Part-Time HGV Driver to support our operations. This role offers guaranteed part-time hours, with the opportunity for overtime, and flexibility to work on either a PAYE or self-employed basis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You’ll be a driver who takes pride in safe and compliant driving, maintains high standards of professionalism, and represents the business positively with clients and the public.
  • Whilst we try to accommodate new starts, we are constrained by insurance requirements and therefore each is assessed on a case by case basis.

Employment Status:

  • Option to work PAYE or self-employed under UTR scheme.
  • Self-employed drivers must provide a valid UTR number and manage their own tax and National Insurance obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving heavy goods vehicles.
  • Moving & handling.
  • Completing mandatory safety checks.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • HGV Licence (C&E).
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • CPC Card.
  • Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
  • Knowledge of Working Times Regulations.
