CAF Haulage & Recovery Limited are looking to recruit a dependable and experienced Part-Time HGV Driver to support our operations. This role offers guaranteed part-time hours, with the opportunity for overtime, and flexibility to work on either a PAYE or self-employed basis.
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ll be a driver who takes pride in safe and compliant driving, maintains high standards of professionalism, and represents the business positively with clients and the public.
- Whilst we try to accommodate new starts, we are constrained by insurance requirements and therefore each is assessed on a case by case basis.
Employment Status:
- Option to work PAYE or self-employed under UTR scheme.
- Self-employed drivers must provide a valid UTR number and manage their own tax and National Insurance obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Driving heavy goods vehicles.
- Moving & handling.
- Completing mandatory safety checks.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.
Skills and Qualifications:
- HGV Licence (C&E).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- CPC Card.
- Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
- Knowledge of Working Times Regulations.
