What will your role be in the company?

If you have technicalexpertiseand an analytical mindset,as well as excellent communication skills and a natural ability to motivateand leadothers,we need you on our team.As Team Leader,you'llwork with us to manage a small team of Technicians and you will take the lead on prioritising tasks and organising warranty repairs,whilst liaising withthecustomerto ensure train availability and reliability targets are achieved.

As Team Leader, you will be relied upon for technical support, working alongside a team of Technicians todiagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis for an advanced fleetacross a range of systems(electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic), using a combination of electrical schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic software.

What will make you successful?

To succeed in the role,you’rea natural communicator and collaborator with the ability to motivateothersto drive for results. Youhavean NVQ Level 3 in electrical/ mechanical engineering (or equivalent) plusextensive post qualifyingexperience under yourbelt, andcandemonstratea wide knowledge of on-board train systems.

You have experience in detecting faults and carrying out root cause analysis across multiple systemsandare capable of interpretingelectrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams, as well as being proficient in using diagnostic software, and test and measuring equipment.You hold a validdriver's licenseand havea flexible approach to working varying shiftsincluding weekends, and both day and night shifts.
