What will be your role in the company?

We are seeking a technician to work as part of a supportive team. The successful applicant will make use of their engineering skills to carry out maintenance on the rolling stock vehicles in our workshop facility at Gogar. We are looking for a technician who works well as part of a team, has good communication skills, enjoys problem solving and likes a challenge. The role offers the opportunity to carry out routine maintenance, basic fault finding, overhauls and repairs in a supportive environment and includes working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. As part of this opportunity, you will start your journey with us by entering our Light Rail maintenance training programme, this involves time spent working alongside our experienced technicians, classroom theory, on‐line and practical hands‐on training sessions on the different vehicle systems.

What Salary will you be paid for this role?

As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £47,500 per annum.
