Responsibilities

  • Leading Lean culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives on CAF Rolling Stock UK sites
  • Implement TIER Accountability Process across Factory
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence by anchoring and supporting implementation on the ground
  • Pilot and support Kaizen projects target using Lean tools to target and benefit from improvements
  • Proactively identify improvement actions to deploy to increase our operational performance
  • Deploy Value stream Mapping process on a regular basis
  • Deployment in the field (training + digitalization of tools) of first-level continuous improvement methodologies (suggestions idea, kaizen, 5S, 5 whys, PDCA, A3, etc.)
  • Conduct internal lean audits
  • Propose, structure and lead continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure a strong presence in the departments and support to encourage creativity
  • Conduct welcome training for new arrivals

Required Professional Experience

Relevant Experience and/or an Engineering Degree

Certified Lean Six Sigma Black or Green – Desirable
