Caesarstone is an award-winning international designer and manufacturer of premium quartz and porcelain surfaces for the commercial and residential interiors sector. We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our hard working and dedicated team at our Distribution Centre in Enfield (nearest train Ponder's End).
The main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with the provision of our premium quartz and porcelain countertops in the UK.
- General warehouse duties such as assisting with unloading incoming containers and trailers with heavily assisted forklift equipment.
- Preparing outgoing orders to pick lists, ensuring that they are prepared accurately.
- Completion of company documentation and processes to record deliveries and orders.
- Movement of stock and organisation of stock location around the warehouse, evaluating and reporting damaged stock.
- Assisting colleagues and acting as a spotter when guiding materials through the warehouse.
- Helping out with stock takes and other warehouse duties.
- Assisting in the samples department, ensuring that sample requests via our hubspot are responded to in a timely manner and packaged for safe and damage free distribution.
- Keeping the samples area neat and tidy.
All applicants must possess a valid driving licence and fork lift licence and be willing to assist with ad hoc deliveries to customers when required. This role requires a lot of walking around the warehouse and you can expect to clock up around 20k steps per day.
Important - This role includes some lifting and repetitive physical movements, and therefore requires a good level of physical fitness and agility. Please consider your ability prior to application. The role will suit someone that enjoys being part of a team and can manage busy periods, but can spot what jobs need to be carried out during quieter periods.
This is a full-time role, working a total of 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 06:00-18:00 and occasional Saturdays between 6:00 - 14:00.
Salary: Β£30k (pro rata based on working 42.5 hours per week)

Requirements:
- Maintain a safe work environment as outlined by Caesarstone policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean working environment (Ensure area of operation is free of dust, debris, waste and rubbish).
- Careful Worker and must be physically fit as products are heavy.
- Fork lift licence.
- Driving licence.
- Report any slabs movement to and in the finished goods warehouse using a mobile terminal; receiving, allocation, moving, issuing.
- Proficiency in reading and writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication.
- Computer literate and able to operate hand held scanning devices.
