Caesarstone is an award-winning international designer and manufacturer of premium surfaces for the commercial and residential interiors sector, with UK Headquarters in Enfield, North London (EN3). Caesarstone manufactures high-quality engineered quartz and porcelain surfaces for a variety of uses and applications, such as bathroom vanities, flooring, quartz countertops, splash backs for kitchens, furniture and other interior surfaces in both residential and commercial buildings.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to assist the DC Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a safe and efficient environment. The main responsibilities include leading the warehouse team hands-on as they contribute to the overall success of the business by consistently practicing high standards of health & safety compliance, whilst providing a premium customer service to our clients and fostering an excellent team environment. The successful candidate must have the capability to effectively co-ordinate the activities of receiving material into the warehouse and ensuring the execution of daily plans/targets are met.

Working 42.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday between the hours of 6am - 6pm. Occasional Saturdays as required to cover busy periods).

Main Duties
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of Warehouse Operatives in shipping, receiving, storing, and maintaining inventories of materials.
  • Ensure daily and weekly productivity and department targets are met or exceeded.
  • Work closely with the Transport Manager and DC Manager to ensure all orders are loaded accurately to be shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues, prepare and submit progress reports and co-ordinate activities with other departments where required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that health and safety and compliance is observed and is recorded at all times in line with company policies and processes.
  • Assist in training workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Support department people processes such as recruitment, terminations and performance management.
  • Perform the same duties as workers supervised, such as coordinating flow of materials in and out of facility; unloading containers and maintaining documentation in accordance with company processes; ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently and accurately; participating in regular stock takes; conducting daily equipment inspections; and cleaning/maintaining of the warehouse and yard.
  • Any other duties which may be required from time to time.

Requirements
  • Professional presentation, work ethic and behaviour.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in warehouse environment. Experience in the stone industry or similar would be advantageous.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
  • Must hold a valid forklift licence.
  • A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organisation.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management and customers.
  • First Aid qualification (or willing to obtain).
  • Physically able and comfortable to work with our products (given size and weight).
  • Hold a current UK Driving Licence and willing to assist with adhoc deliveries.
