Beatrice Webb Residential Home is looking for the right person to assist the Cook in planning, preparing and serving meals to the residents. Experience of working in a care environment and knowledge of Food Safety Act, HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety would be beneficial although not essential. You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality person centred care. Working hours will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota pattern. For the role, we ask that you have:
- Knowledge of principles that underpin quality care, eg dignity, choice, etc.
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- The ability to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
