Summary
We are recruiting an Infant Speech and Language Teacher at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: Full Days Thursday & Friday
Contract Type: Part Time (40% contract), Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Location: Tir-y-Berth Primary School in Special Resource Base

Tir-y-Berth Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled teacher to work within our Infant Speech and Language Base.
This specialist provision supports young learners with significant speech, language and communication needs, helping them to develop the skills and confidence required to access learning and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be committed to inclusive practice, work closely with families and multi-agency professionals, and create engaging, nurturing learning experiences that promote communication, independence and well-being for every child.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 5th November.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- Qualified teacher status and current EWC registration.
- Evidence of successful relevant teaching experience including teaching practice.
- The ability to establish good relationships and work in partnership with other staff, governors, parents and other stakeholders.
