We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Responsibilities:- A calm, patient and nurturing approach to working with children with ALN.
- An understanding of the diverse needs associated with autism, including communication, sensory and social needs.
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills when working with staff, families and external professionals.
- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to follow structured routines and individual support plans.
- Relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (e.g., NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants experience).
- Good numeracy/literacy skills.
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age.
- Previous experience of working with children with additional learning needs.
- Local Government Pension Scheme.
