As a Road Safety Officer, you will play a key role in delivering the Council's road safety service. You'll coordinate and deliver a wide range of road safety programmes, campaigns and training activities aimed at reducing road casualties and promoting safer behaviours for people of all ages. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines project delivery, partnership working, supervision, community engagement and operational decision-making.
Qualifications- Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Qualifications and Credit Framework for Wales, for example A levels.
- Awareness of road safety education, training and publicity initiatives.
- Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit schools and transport materials/equipment.
