The role of End User Computing Engineer will include delivery of high-quality Digital support across Council sites and schools, managing incidents and service requests through to resolution, and achieving service level targets. The role involves but is not limited to diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting device setup and maintenance, and ensuring secure, compliant IT environments. The post holder will also contribute to asset management, system security, and routine maintenance, while working collaboratively with service desk teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to work flexibly across multiple locations and support continuous service improvement.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- Relevant Level 3 qualification
- A clear understanding of change management processes.
- Experience of implementing changes through IT service management
- A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence to drive a Council vehicle
