This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation. We pay an attractive salary of £29,540 - £31,022 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The postholder will provide financial support relating to grant funded projects ensuring financial controls are in place to manage the reconciliation processes. The applicant will be responsible for undertaking all financial administrative functions in support of the accountants, and ensure all financial administrative processes are undertaken and target deadlines met in relation to grant funded projects. You will also assist with the reconciliation of various grant claims and liaise with the Income Section to ensure all income is received and correctly accounted for.
You must have knowledge of general administration practices and corporate IT systems.
Qualifications- A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A-C including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent Level 2 qualifications on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales which require the same level of ability in Mathematics and English Language.
- A suitable level of understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Previous experience of working in a finance or financial administrative environment.
