We are recruiting Domiciliary Care Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 14 hours per week, which will be worked on a rotating basis. For further information on the available hours, please contact the recruiting manager using the details provided below.
Contract type: Permanent/Part Time.
Location: Community based.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Home Assistance Reablement Team (HART). We pay an attractive salary of £9,990 - £10,648 and offer access to training and development opportunities. H.A.R.T supports adults living within Caerphilly County Borough by working closely with health and community partners to ensure individuals receive the right support at the right time in their own homes.
Responsibilities- Provide short-term support to individuals during their care and support assessment process.
- Regularly update key workers on progress and work across all HART services.
- Depending on the level of support required, work alone or alongside a colleague.
- Comprehensive induction.
- Training to promote your continued professional development.
- An embedded risk assessment model.
- Regular supervision, annual appraisal and opportunities for reflective practice.
- Supportive and experienced Monitoring officers and Seniors.
- Visible and strong leadership from the Senior Management Team.
- Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Staff discount schemes.
- Knowledge of domiciliary care regulations.
- Experience of providing / assisting with care, either in present / previous employment or for a family member.
- Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings, visit individuals.
