We are recruiting an Environmental Health Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Health Officer to join our Pollution Control Team.
- Working hours: 37
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

- Team: Environmental Health - Pollution
Responsibilities
- You will be tackling complex environmental issues such as noise, air quality, contaminated land and environmental permitting.
- You will conduct monitoring, interpret data and investigate nuisance complaints as well as providing specialist advice on planning, licensing and land searches.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualified as an Environmental Health Officer and registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board or with gain registration within 6 months of commencing the post.
- Knowledge of environmental permitting legislation and associated guidance.
- Experience of working in Environmental Health.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the county borough to attend emergency incidents and transport relevant equipment.
