The Duty Manager will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality day to day operations across the venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Front of House teams during events, overseeing customer service delivery, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
The role involves responding to incidents, supporting audience experience, and maintaining smooth event operations in a fast paced, public facing environment. Strong communication, decision making, and organisational skills are essential, alongside a proactive, customer focused approach and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales and/or a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at work is required, or the candidate must obtain this qualification within a timescale agreed on appointment.
Excellent communication skills with self-confidence and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders including visiting companies, performers, hirers, audience members, and staff are necessary. Flexibility and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are also required.
