We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council. The role is based at Rhiw Syr Dafydd Primary School.
Contract: Part Time, Fixed Term until 31st August 2027, Term Time Only.
Working hours: 32.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (TTO).
Salary: £21,054 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Reception duties, including greeting visitors.
- Answering general telephone and face‑to‑face inquiries from parents and guests.
- Providing support to the administration team in delivering a positive school experience for pupils during the day.
- Contributing to the overall ethos and aims of the school.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in a similar discipline.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience in general clerical/administrative work.
